William Birch Court

The resident-run social club at William Birch Court organises a variety of activities including social afternoons, bingo sessions and games nights in the spacious communal lounge; plus off-site day trips and restaurant meals. The attractive communal gardens are the venue for summer barbecues and picnic teas, offering an ideal place for some outdoor relaxation in fine weather. Green fingered residents are also welcome to get involved with a spot of gardening if they choose.

The court is on the edge of Berryhill fields where there are pleasant walks, a fishing pond and lots of wildlife.  The court is conveniently located within easy reach of a GP surgery, post office, chemist and other local shops. A bus stop is also nearby so residents can get the bus into the town centre.

Our Court Manager service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court for those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.

On-site facilities at the court include a communal lounge, laundry room, visiting hairdresser, chiropodist and a large communal garden that surrounds the Court.
