Actions Required

Where a surveyor notices that some actions can be resolved on site, they can arrange for these to be immediately rectified. Example, laundry door is wedged open – Court Manager is informed that the fire door must not be wedged, and is asked to remove the wedge immediately.

• If the Fire Risk Assessment indicates that actions are required, these will be notified to the action owner through the Pebbles system. It is the responsibility of the risk owner to ensure all actions are complete in the appropriate time scales and logged on the Pebbles system.   

• Where the actions are significant and building related, they can be collated into one project and added to the annual capital programme.

• If the action item is classed by the survey as urgent, an action deadline contained in the Fire Risk Assessment will be added to the details in the email.
