We have a dedicated Learning and Development team who design and deliver a wide range of in-house training and development programmes.
Our commitment to helping you develop your skills and improve your performance starts from day one with a tailored induction and job development pathway, designed to maximise your skills, knowledge and development opportunities with Housing 21.
The induction journey is tailored to your job role and will include an induction toolkit, workshops, e-learning and observation and reflective practice, all administered through a personalised Learning Management System.
We are fully committed to the ongoing development of all employees and recognise that upskilling our workforce will help people to perform at their best and deliver an excellent service to our customers, and this is formally recognised through our Investors in People Platinum accreditation.

Every carer receives full Skill for Care accredited in house training from our operational trainers in all aspects of care delivery and current legislation
A complete portfolio of systems support training including a full range of Microsoft Office products and bespoke in house business software for both Care and Housing employees

Inspiring Excellence – Level 5 Leadership development programme (The Institute of Leadership and Management)
L5 University Certificate of Professional Development in Management and L7 University Certificate of Professional Development in Leadership - delivered by De Montfort University
We are committed to providing Apprenticeship opportunities for you to develop your knowledge and skills within your existing role or to progress your career.
All Apprenticeships, which can take 12-48 months to complete, include the following:
- A nationally recognised qualification, e.g. Diploma or Certificate
- Functional skills Maths & English
- 20% off the job training
- Portfolio of evidence
- Work Based Project
