Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing
Housing 21 is proud to adopt the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing, an environmental, social and governance (ESG) standard designed for the housing sector.
The Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing (‘SRS’) was launched in November 2020 by the Environmental, Social and Governance (‘ESG’) Working Group. The SRS reporting framework has been developed to establish a transparent, consistent and comparable set of ESG criteria across the housing sector.
The report details our performance against Environment, Social and Governance performance, highlighting the positive work we do and showing our commitment towards sustainability and the environment. We are committed to going beyond legal requirements, exceeding minimum standards and striving to achieve a position of ‘doing no harm’.
In signing the statement, Housing 21 commits to the following:
- Report against the Standard on an annual basis for as long as we remain an Adopter
- Provide feedback on the Standard as a way of supporting the further development of the Standard
- Encourage others to adopt the Standard
