Resident Board and committee opportunities

Do you want to take a key role in shaping services at Housing 21?

Are you passionate about social purpose and high quality housing? Would you like to inform decisions and help guide the direction of our organisation?

We’re looking for new Resident Board Members and Resident Committee Members to join us and help shape the services we offer at Housing 21. We’d love to hear from residents who are passionate about all things housing and care, share our values and can complement the strength and diversity of our Board and Committees.

The Resident Board Member positions are key leadership roles that will influence the direction of the organisation and play a key part in decision making. We’re looking for residents who demonstrate high standards of conduct and thrive on collaborating; our Board operates with a culture of openness, willingness to listen and appreciation of the insights and expertise that other members of the Board can offer. We will be appointing one Resident Board Member from an Extra Care scheme, and one from Retirement Living. The Resident Board Members will be required to attend meetings throughout the year and will be remunerated.

The Resident Committee Member roles are just as important and will allow you to focus on informing the decisions and helping guide the strategic direction of either the Retirement Living or Extra Care Teams. Your insight into Housing 21, gained through your own lived experiences and those of other residents, will help shape and improve our future performance for the benefit of our residents. We will be appointing one Resident Committee Member from an Extra Care scheme, and one from Retirement Living. The Resident Committee Members will be required to attend meetings throughout the year and will be remunerated.

Sound interesting?

If you think you could bring passion, enthusiasm and energy to one of these roles we want to hear from you.
